Anencephalic Baby

This is a baby that suffers from anencephaly. From Wikipedia:

Anencephaly is a cephalic disorder that results from a neural tube defect that occurs when the cephalic (head) end of the neural tube fails to close, usually between the 23rd and 26th day of pregnancy, resulting in the absence of a major portion of the brain, skull, and scalp. Children with this disorder are born without a forebrain, the largest part of the brain consisting mainly of the cerebral hemispheres (which include the isocortex, which is responsible for higher level cognition, i.e., thinking). The remaining brain tissue is often exposed - not covered by bone or skin.

This video was taken from a mobile phone in a Kurdish hospital. The cause of this was the use of chemical weapons on the parents and grandparents' used by Saddam Hussein in the late '80s.

My first child was Anencephalic, the Doctor never told me, only my husband. At 7 months pregnant the head could'nt be felt, I had an iduced birth, & told after. The Jaw bone developes, but not the Scull bone. No one knows why it happens. Depression, guilt, grief, are felt as with the loss of any child. Back then, the 70's no councelling was given, a case of go home and cope. My Son lived for 15 minutes, was Baptised & Christened at the Hospital----Simon will never be forgotten.

My Brother Was Born With This- And We Lost Him. Have Some Consideration For Other People. And Im Practicly Saying This To All Of You Who Are Just Being Plain MEAN. How Can You Search This Knowing It's A Real Baby Then Make Nasty Comments. It's Offencive , OKAY!?! And The Organs For This Baby Could Not Be Used.
