here are video captures of my KWorld PlusTV Hybrid USB Stick Pro 325u at work.

i'm using a Pentium 4 3.0Ghz cpu with quite a number of processes running in the background which are kinda essential to me.

and i still want to view tv on my pc so i used this tv tuner card.

i'm very pleased with the digital broadcast because they are really good quality.

my only gripe is with the software because it scans for all channels even the garbage channel and we can't change the names of the channels ourselves.

as you can see, even a Pentium 4 (running quite a lot of processes in the background) will experience laggy video when it comes to analog streams.

the digital streams however are clear and very smooth~!!!

i will upload some other videos depicting the different analog and digital quality video captures.

i bought it during the sitex 2008 at SGD$129.

  • i've stopped using this device... because i find the software kinda lame and not intuitive.

    waste of money.

so i play my xbox360 more now anyway...

  • P4 sucks.

If you get a dual-core processor, there will be no lag.

  • well hopefully...

    :-)

  • @tuggerpuppy1 True

  • @iToasterman I think we can both agree that flash is terribly coded.

  • @tuggerpuppy1 O.o i think my grandma lives her your fiance :p and i want to see your little blade server stand up to flash.>:D flash can take out the most powerful i7 desktop

  • @iToasterman I was just wondering. My fiance lives in Kingston at the moment.

  • @tuggerpuppy1 How is that your business?

  • @iToasterman Where in Canada do you live?

  • @tuggerpuppy1 Painfully slow? Clearly you NEVER ran a web server on old hardware, oh btw before you try and bash p4 again, Im going to a amd athlon xII 255 3.1ghz for the server next. Or, the new 8 core going out ;D Learn to host with limited resources or GTFO

  • @iToasterman You could, yes, but it would be so painfully slow that your customers would get mad. Then again, you're probably a 15 year old kid who still lives at home with their parents so you don't have to worry about quality control. You just make do with what you have and that's alright for a kid.

  • @tuggerpuppy1 ooh wow i need a xenon for it. I ain't miss using the term server. server is a computer that provides a service to private and or public. Aka, its a server. So you go learn your shit. You need a xenon to host a website. i can do that from a p1 or a pentium with mmx and still handle the load

  • @iToasterman There you go again misusing the term server. You're just hosting games. 30 people? Wow. 30 people is nothing. Try 3,000. I think everyone can agree that Apple is overpriced and far overrated. Also, I'm not saying specifically Xeon. Any modern processor will do. You just play your little games and leave the real real networking to people who know what they're talking about and the people like me, who actually have to buy networking hardware for companies.
