Dinar investment a Ponzi scheme

At least one local investment advisor is calling it a scam. Toledoans are being encouraged to buy the Iraqi Dinar as a way to strike it rich.

Toledo investors are being encouraged to put money in Iraq's currency with the promise it will soon increase in value, Dock Treece of Treece Investment Advisory Corp., said Wednesday don't part with your dollars in favor of the Dinar.

Several websites have popped up in recent weeks claiming that as Iraq recovers and rebuilds from the war, its oil reserves will help the economy there to boom, and its currency to shoot up in value.

Purchasing foreign currency is NOT a ponzi scheme. A ridiculous statement! I encourage all of you to check out "on-line" the Jim Cramer interview televised last year. Google it. He said if you can get ahold of the Dinar, do it! With any investment, do your research, purchase the Dinar from " a reputable seller" & listen to "Experts"!! Everyone has an opinion, however, that doesn't mean it's "factual".

I have purchased Dinar and am quite confident the Dinar revaluation will take place!!

Little wonder our country is in such deep s**t when Americans can't see this simple scam for what it is. A neighbor tried to get me to buy dinars 2 yrs ago and I informed her then it was a scam. I just found out yesterday that she got yet another neighbor involved and YET FAILED OVER THE LAST 2 YRS TO TELL HER IT WAS A SCAM. Great friend, no? Take an "A-B-C" easy business class folks and get yourselves some brains!!!! As it is now, you're so stupid, you're scary.

You are angry because you are afraid of something. If the dinar sellers are scamming us, why aren't they being charged with fraud? I would sooner risk $1000 for 1million dinars than risk the dinar ReValuing and me having none. I can either lose $1000 or I can lose $3 million (or more!).

The most noble thing Treece could have said is, "i don't know" but instead he is talking about something of which he knows nothing. What if he is wrong (and he is) and he keeps some little old lady from spending about $113 for 25000 dinars and then they RV (ReValue) to $3 and she misses out on $75,000?? Does he want that on his conscience? I guess so or he wouldn't say such stupid stuff. Did the German Mark going from nothing to much more make sense? But it did go up.
