  • how did you record the sound from your module to your pc?

    this is fucking me up.

  • @MoonlightGTA I use a USB to midi cable going into my Apple iMac from the module, then into garageband. I use the plug in's already stored into it to achieve the sounds.

  • Hi, I just bought the TD-4kx2 Roland. Majority the sounds suck. Not too impressed, but yours sound so good.

I play an accoustic kit and wanted something that would be of a smaller foot print.

Can you tell me how you are getting this sound and what I would need? The toms aren't too bad but the sanare and kick are what I can't seem to do much with. Too much slap no matter what setting I try.

  • @WhooverBand I am using a USB to midi, I access the sounds from Logic but you can add plug in softwares like toontrack to trigger and achieve sounds.

    Thanks for watching, Elias.

  • Very nice drumming!

But it looks like you speed up the vid. Which you shouldnt have cause it was a cool jam anyway...

  • @sebas404 Thank you very much! But I didn't speed it up at all, I admit that after watching it back, it looks like it has but it hasn't, just check out my video 'Elias mead playing a drum solo' for proof. ;)

  • nothing wrong with your ability dude!! Bought the Roland TD4K2 today, can't wait till it's ready for collection!!!!

  • the USB MIDI INTERFACE is sold separately, am i right? i just bought mine yesterday and i don't have one... it's a td4kx.

  • very refreshing, keep up the great work dude! I wish I could do some of your chops still. Its a bit all over, but hey your testing the midi out and I do the same kind of thing. Its good bro, awesome. love the slow and quickness in the rolls mixed very nice. sold my kit and now I'm on the shame train.

I'm saving money for a TD-4kx2 Roland. Hope its a good kit, it sounds pretty good so far, but acoustic, is heaven man.

    peace from Santa Cruz, brah

    Charlie
