@sukhkickass a purely electric vehicle still wouldn't go that far. It would take a hybrid to reach 300mi range.

@torogami2 That was like 10 years ago. With batteries like today it easily could have gone up to 300 miles

this car's not that great only 90 miles on a whole charge isn't enough to get to another charging station

@parkerdonald 99% of the cars were taken - many with the leaseholders blocking the path of the transporters - to the desert where they crushed and converted to landfill. It's shocking. See "Who Killed the Electric Car" - excellent documentary

that was with old style lead-acid batteries, but with todays batteries like in the Tesla could do 300 miles
