  • Your parody shows that you have no clue about copyright law or how any business works that relies on copyright law. These kids were prosecuted because the ARTISTS were NOT PAID when THEIR SONGS were downloaded. Copyright law is what ensures that artists get paid for their work. Copyright is is a declaration of ownership. The copyright for songs are owned by the artists, not by the recording company. Also, there is no "illegal monopoly." If you believe there is, then name the company.
