  • this is the same as the beatles but a little uglier

  • Really Cool.... Thanks~ ~♥Voices~

  • @highschoolmusical841 Yes, I agree. It's funny, I went into a Guitar Center store to get brand new XL nickel wound D'Addario strings and, though I was eyeing intently all of the guitars all around, especially the Gretsches, I surveyed my surroundings to look upon the different kinds of people (30-20 somethings) playing at the instruments. Most, to my eyes, seemed very sloppy and shabby clothed. The music? Something akin to 'metal'. There is a definite disconnect or chasm.

  • @highschoolmusical841 Yeah, Simon was a boy, not even a teenager, in the 1960s. Nothing seems to have got him involved, in any capacity, musically at all in that incredible era. Oblivious to it all, to be quite honest. It figures.

  • @wildcatfalling

    Really?

  • @Vonstromberg

I am American, born in 1954 and you are absolutley correct, Vonstromberg. The Brits took rock n roll to the next level. They really appreciated the rawness of the Blues in Black America. Listen to the American charts in 1960 to 1963. The music wasn't reallly that good. It had been sanitized. Elvis, post his stint in the Army, was never really the same again. You must really thank the Brits for that.

  • @MOOCHSNOOP The amount of money made by a person(s) does not, generally speaking, mean a sense of good taste comes along with it, I mean, I've yet to witness the wealthy sector in our times actually promote music that is only 3 or 4 decades ago, they can't because mostly that sector did not even have a clue. Nevertheless, the realization of knowing when THAT guy was born, I dismiss ANY critieria he may issue.

  • @Khultan The 60's was not my era either. I wasn't born until the 70's. However, I greatly appreciate good artists from the 60's and 70's especially. As much as I hate X Factor and all those talentless shows doesn't mean Mr Cowell can't appreciate good music (he probably does, he is intelligent - look how much money he has made). He is just a money making machine, capitalising on all those philistines out there who buy crap pop music like sheep.

  • To the 18 people so far that have clicked the dislike button...fuck off and die!

  • @rowley1950 You know, realizie this, that Simon Phillip Cowell was born in 1959. So, depending on what year this video is from, Simon would have been a mere CHILD, not a teenager, not even a juvenile, but a CHILD. This guy, by timing of his birth, actually missed out on the 1960s era entirely. He has no musical background in his juvenile or early teenage years. Ugh.
