jerome was very important, the first hype man with class, sang background, played in numerous movies, and you could tell how prince used his charisma in under the cherry moon, great movie may i add, honestly a better movie than purple rain, its just that purple rain had the soundtrack..but jerome was in like two, three bands...very funny, underrated

@MooseShady Some people just don't understand. Any old schooler knows who Jerome knows what he can do and knows his part in the band. And that person who said Jerome Benton is the damn fool with no talent doesn't really know The Time in the first place. It's a damn shame Prince wouldn't let them use The Time name anymore they are now going by The Original 7ven check out there new video #Trendin. Just bought the new CD and it's tight. I love the song call "Sick" on there. Jesse is wicked on lead.
