  • Rex Harrison was a great actor, The proffessor Higgins, Julius Caesar, Cecil Fox, Doctor Dolittle.....

  • @mybetterfilms i knew the plot seemed familliar!.

  • ps...the movie "what a girl wants" with amanda bynes is a remake of this movie

  • It is now available on Warner Archives DVD.

  • SAD WAS'NT SHE MARIED AND HAD A SON BY NOW.. SHE SHOULD HAVE BROKE AWAY FROM THIS TYPE OF BULL.. TO PROVE THAT SHE COULD ACT .. LIKE NATLIE WOOD

  • do you have this movie... if so would it be possible to upload it i saw it half of it on tcm and then a storm knocked out the satellite :/ would be much appreciated

  • The full version of this movie explains that Dee lives with her mother in America and is just visiting her father and stepmother (Kendall) in England.

  • I never seen this movie! I've been trying to see it for years, but had trouble obtaining a copy. Then only NOW do I find out that it was playing at the Stanford Theatre over a month ago. Damn. Bring it back, Stanford! Wah.

  • Minnelli must be a genius. I've never seen Sandra Dee so good. She looks almost unrecognizable and so mature, though this is one of her first films! Like Bobby Darin, Dee had limited vocal skills (prob. her main liability as a credible actress) but here, even though she's young and her voice should sound more puberphonic than later, she sounds better! I can't believe how good she is in this scene. Based on this scene alone it has a Preminger style in the acting. Kudos!

  • @EpicJewelsify Could you please upload The Reluctant Debutante when you get it??
