WIGGLE DOES NOT DO THE SAME THING!!!!
Wiggle adds random movement, which makes it good for an earthquake. This looks real. Like the camera man is actually holding a camera. Test the difference yourself!

Basically what the description says. This technique was described on my blog, along with several others. To view these other techniques on After Effects 7.0, wander on over to clubhouseinc.blogspot.com, or go to clubhouseinc.net and click blog.

  • Why is Bowser's fire breath in my right ear?

  • ooft os x tiger :'D

  • Do you have keylight for adobe after effects 7.0

  • can you do it in all one composition

  • cool tutorial, but it would have been nice if you showed the final rendered result with the camera move.

  • what mac did you use ? doesafter effects run on a powermac g4 ?

  • @waywardson256

great tutorial, I just got one problem:

when I paste my null layer, the only thing that happens is that a red square appears in my composition viewer. I dont get any motion. Im pretty sure that the motion information is in the null layer, because when I click on my footage with motion, it sas targeted to 'layer null'.

Hope you can help me :S I really want to use this technique:)

  • What's the point without the result? :/

  • @petenicezz Oh pete... poor pete. This video is for AE v7.0. CS5 has AE v10.0. If you have CS5 you have v10.0. v = version. I never wrote V10 but it should mean the same as v10, which is version 10.
