Me Defeating the Bruiser Brothers

The Bruiser Brothers are stronger than hellknights. I used the BFG because it was my first time playing. If you can defeat both of them using only a chainsaw or fists (extremely hard) post it as a video response. And yes,the Bruiser Brothers are their actual names, given to them by John Carmack.

actually, you're both right and wrong. they are hellknights as they look like hellknights, but those hellknights are a shit load harder to fight and are tougher. i agree that they are the bruiser brothers, but, like doom, they are tougher versions of the hellknights, so they are hell knights, but a whole lot tougher, and are the bruiser brothers from the original doom brought back to us. :)

Hmm i dont see the difference between the bruiser bros and the normal hell knights.

Only the ones that appear in hell who look more redisch and a lot easyer to kill.

But you can take every hell knight out with a full bfg blast which costs 4rounds, the bruiser bros too. So are there any other differences with these 2 and the ones scattered arround the base?

They are not Barons of Hell. There are no Barons of Hell in Doom 3. And they don't need to be, since the Hellknights are so powerful. They substitute the role of the Barons.

I honestly like the Hell Knight's design in DooM 3.

Not so much in DooM 2. They were just a recolor of the Barons of hell. Not very original =/

But the fact that there are no Barons in DooM 3 make me sad face... =(

Bruiser in DooM 3 are those mechanical demon things.

The Bruiser Brothers in DooM were these two pissed-off Barons of Hell that served as bosses to the end of the first episode. Him calling the two Hell Knights that came out of the portals was a callback to those two tough bastards.

So he was correct.

well the cutscene is actually a reference to the original doom game where 2 baron of hell shows up and called the famous "bruiser brother"

these hellknight in doom 3 is actually a hybrid of the class baron and hellknight,

@HelloGoofball This is supposed to be a remake of the original doom level E1M8. The Barons were going to be called the "Bruiser Brothers" but was changed to Baron of Hell.

when there is already an enemy called a Bruiser,people assume you're going to be fighting that enemy.

in RoE,the bruisers are,well,what he said they are,not two hell knights.

the two hell knights may have that nick-name,but they themselves aren't called bruisers,so when you say "bruiser brothers" people may think you mean two bruisers.
