Trapped cats for China's food and fur industries_part 1

August 30, 2008. Local animal rescuers tried to stop a truck loading over 70 crates with over 1500 cats near Shanghai. Many cats were pets with collars. Destination: Guangdong Province...to be eaten. Despite long stand-off and support from growing crowd, rescuers were detained by authorities and cats back in custody of trappers.

What I see here and in many other videos is one common thing: No fucking respect for life whatsoever! I don't care if this was filmed in China or any other country, I don't care if it's cats, dogs, rabbits, cows, pigs etcs.

Animals deserve a humane handling just like any human being! Hell, these fuckers in particular would probably cage human babies as well if they had fur!

I don't say wearing fur is wrong, I don't say eating meat is wrong but this shit has to stop worldwide! Wake the fuck up!

and there IS another way to control animal population: sterilization. ever heard about it? but abusing animals is much cheaper and more uncomplicated. do you even recognize what you're talking aboout? human-being population is also growing and growing, what do we do about this? probably don't put us into little cages to get abused till we die a very painful death.

I know, that not all Chinese are like that. But they have no laws, which defends animals, they're just things. I'm Swiss and I know, that even in my country, there are several bastards, who abuses animals, but when they get caught, they get punished. it is impossible to expose animal cruelty like that in my country, cause it's immoral. and that is how it should be all over the world (at least). I can't symphatize with a culture, where it's allowed to treat animals like that. I really don't.
