that sounds right...however they did have this clip before the luxor opened so i'm guessing it was like a test run before opening night.

guys, theres been like, hundreds of different blue men, old ones retire, new ones are hired. The shows been here for a long ass time. Right now there are prob, like, 80 blue men in the world including the replacements in case one gets sick.

They do not play any more. They are in charge of running the productions. Chris wink handles one group of cities, Phil handles another group of cities, and Matt does the same thing. The production stage managers in each city that BMG is in answer to Chris Matt or Phil. They dont play in the shows. They do more television adds and television segments on talk shows and sports shows with out makeup.

BMG is like a big gathering of Musicians
who all are BMG. You have the front
principals, The Vocalists, backup vocalists,
The BMG Band, the Drumwall, and the Techies.
The BMG has evolved from the original 3 man
Front group to a Traveling Entourage. Their production is very similar to that
of a fixed Broadway Production in the big venues. BMG also has a touring
entourage that does shows on the road.
They tour all over the world simultaneously.

They are all still in NYC running the Blue Man Group and developing other projects but don't perform the show on a regular basis
