Metal Gear Solid Boss Psycho Mantis vs Snake 2/2

I figured out how to beat him. All you need to do is save turn off and on epsxe and change your controls to PAD2 and load the game back up again.

I think I've learned the moral of this battle. When your fighting a psychic change your controller from port 1 into port 2! ;)

This happen in old Sony CRTs, when you press the TV/Video key show "VIDEO" and the word turn smaller. The producer intentionally put this as an easter egg..

How do I get it to stay as controller port to. I just have regular PSX. Everytime I switch it to port 2 i check and it goes back to port 1

so...since this backward compatible in the PS2...can I use multitap and switch to port 4? will that make the battle any harder for snake or for mantis? LOL I'm just curious, I wanna make use of this damn multitap I bought for the sole purpose of timesplitters and unreal tournament back then.

@BlkGmni you have to switch directed controller ports on one of the menu... its actually much harder to figure out
