Vietnam Vet John, US Army, attended his second retreat in Dayton in Aug 2011. His ffirst retreat was in Greenwich NY, Nov 2010. John shared his experience of combat trauma and returning home to a hostile country. John expressed his love for his faithful wife and the need of Jesus in all things. John pointed out his new understanding of the biblical terms and differences between killing and murder. John understands now what is described in Ecclesiastes 3:3, there is a time to kill and a time to heal. John encourages all to understand and embrace combat veterans and share with them Jesus' unconditional love.
