Chuck Crismier interviews Author Dr. Joseph Webb, Th.D, Ph.D about his new book and how the church has been deceived in regards to divorce & remarriage.
Marriage and Divorce
The Trojan Horse Within the Church
Whom Shall We Then Believe?
Authors: Dr. Joseph A. Webb, Th.D, Ph.D & Patricia L. Webb, Ph.D
www.cpr-ministries.org
The purpose of this book is to expose, in a non-judgmental way, where the church is today in dealing with the divorce and remarriage issue. It will also explain how we arrived at this juncture and give a clear distinction regarding the secular and Christian worldviews on this vital subject. The bottom line will be; whom shall we then believe?
For the TRUTH about Divorce and Remarriage...

"b/c we must obey Jesus' teaching on marriage"

I can take payments.
You can send it thru paypal to;

You CLAIM we are to OBEY Jesus, then you dishonor Him with your excuses.
Or you can just admit that there is MORE to the story than 2 VERY CLEARLY worded commandments.

"William, it's like you didn't even think about my response."

I already know your game, friend.
You thought you were being clever...nothing more.
You figured your response would wow me or something but you fail to comprehend that Ive seen every excuse in the book.
You demand adherence to the letter of the law...I DEMAND you OBEY Jesus Christs COMMAND that you GIVE to EVERY man who ASKS.
If you refuse, then you are a hypocrite, nothing more, and to be rejected wholesale.

"I'm also willing to give you something else"

Friend, I have spent THOUSANDS of hours examining EVERY shred of evidence from BOTH sides of this issue from both the scriptures and those who both agree AND disagree with me,
See thats because *I* am not afraid of finding out when Im wrong.
THIS issue is ABOUT remarriage.
Please discuss that or stop wasting time here.

"and reject any interpretation that would render any of the verses as void "
==
Duh.
And did you bother to take even a moment to READ a single thing from my studies, pal?
Or are you too afraid to do so because you know you might be proven wrong?
Come over to my studies area, sign up and debate this with me there since you CLAIM you HAVE looked at all of the scriptures.
*IF* you KNOW the truth, then you should be able to mop the floor with me.
We both know you wont show up.

And contrary to your idiocy, that is NOT what my ministry stands for.
We've had members of our old fellowship forum LEAVE after making comments about their own frivolous reasons for divorce thinking that we would condone any such thing.
What WE are doing, since you seem to ignorant to figure it out, is SAVING EXISTING marriages...unlike mr Wilcox's perverse gang who will cause marriages of 50 years or more to be ended because of something that happened 60 years ago.
Get a clue

OH gee...the same huh?
I guess if something isnt consistent with the church and scripture YOUR type cant accept it.
Tell your idol Stephen Wilcox to debate this issue with me publically. We can do so in a moderated environment if he's afraid.
$100 bill says that there is no environment where that man or any of his dupes will allow themselves to be exposed for the frauds they are.

@wmtipton You herald your ministries interps. on remarriage, but they're the same as I can get at the other thousands of modern denominations. Interestingly, it falls right in line with the interps Thomas Acquinas, Martin Luther, John Calvin and lots of other murderous, phariseeical grace-changers. You don't offer anything new, just the same old "marriage is for life unless it gets hard or someone makes a mistake" non-sense that hard-hearted theologians have preached for centuries.

@wmtipton You have to take ALL of the Scriptures that apply, or could apply on a given subject, and reject any interpretation that would render any of the verses as void or rediculous. It's very arrogant for you to think that just bc someone doesn't agree with you, then they haven't looked at all the Scriptures.

@wmtipton I'm also willing to give you something else that you may find helpful. If you're comfortable with it, I'll mail you an audiobook I recently recorded entitled "Common Sense" if you message me your address. I understand if you're not comfortable with that - I'll be glad to send it to your church or ministry (the book is not about remarriage-a subject on which we obviously disagree, but Scripture interpretation). Let me know.
