@straightfromvirginia I come from UK town that has a school for US expats, and when i was younger , about 1983 -1984 , most of the kids were brats - they had better bikes ( BMX) , better clothes, always bragged about their military being able to crush ours ( fine - just make our supposedly crap UK life even worse with a full scale invasion, and then forced to eat American spray-on cheese ) . But they wre a spoilt minority, and i have been to the US & met far nicer people since.
