@0587dave not true, big difference from a mile(mid-distance) and a 400(sprint), its true most milers can break 50 in a 400 but breakign 50 isnt that good for a 400 runner as breaking 46 or 47
i run it in 1:30 at a moderate run ending up at a 6min mile its crazy they near cut my time in half. i doner why that people can run 4minute miles but cant beat this time in a 400? not to mention they lost severe steam that last 100m or so. is someone can run a 4-5 min mile with the proper training they should be able to blow away this 400m time pretty easy.

@wc5killer besides the obvious difference.... The main difference is the length of the track indoors typically 200m while outdoors are typically 400m

@kimaryu the curves are super tight in the first lane, if your pretty fast you actually slow down a bit. and indoor has banked tracks
