Previously- Conn3ct became HUGE. Joe is not being co-operative with the band to change their name to the Jonas Brothers. Demi and Joe would rather be with each other than around other people.

* Days go by and Demi and Joe keep to themselves. They both act strangely. Ashley and Selena start seeing less of Demi and more of Jemi, but never a happy Jemi, always a quiet pair. Nick and Selena start hanging out more often and then Kevin and Ashley did too. They werent hanging out as a group of friends anymore, only couples. Selena walks into Joes room. He is reading a magazine on his bed.*

S- ok, thats it. Spill!
J- why are you talking so loud? And I dont know what you are talking about?
S- this isnt loud Joe! Whats going on with you?
J- Im perfectly fine.
S- (throws the magazine out of his hands) this isnt perfectly fine Joe. Youre my twin, I know you better than anyone. Why dont you trust me?
J- I dont understand why you are attacking me with questions.
S- youve changed and I dont like the new you or the new Demi one bit.
J- (getting angry) you think I like it? I didnt chose to change or act differently. It just happened.
S- what do you mean? I dont understand.
J- do you know what its like being told what to do, how to look, what to say, even that you have to change your last name? Being famous destroys your identity. I cant be Joe Montez anymore now Im Joe Jonas. I cant cut my hair unless my manager approves it. I cant be myself anymore and that depresses me, which depresses Demi.
S- but Joe no one said you had to do any of this
J- and just quit and let the band down and have everyone hate me? Yeah that looks like a real option.
S- well dont let it control you and destroy who you really are. Just because youre last name changes for a band doesnt mean youre not the Joe Montez that everyone knows and loves.
J- well maybe not to you it doesnt.
S- listen to me Joe. Your attitude affects Demis because she loves you. You need to make an adjustment.
J- I know and Ive tried.
S- maybe you should lay low for a while, why dont we go on vacation?
J- I cant, we have shows coming up.
S- oh, do you need a hug?
J- yes (hugs her)

*Nick walks into Joes room while they are hugging*

N- if you two werent related Id be really jealous right now.
J- (laughs)
N- whoa. Did Joe just laugh?
S- I fixed him.
J- was I really that off?
N- let me just say, its good to have you back, and you need a haircut, thats all Im adding
J- thanks, wheres Demi?
N- she just texted me and said she was staying by her pool today to relax and have some alone timewhatever that means
S- weird
J- I got to go fix things.
N- I thought everything was fine with you guys?
J- it hasnt been
S- well do whatever you have to do
J- thanksfor everything
S- anything for you bro
