Chelsea will be without Didier Drogba and Saloman Kalou after failing to delay the pair's departure to the African Nations Cup.

John Terry, who has been struggling with a knee injury, is a major concern. A decision will made on his fitness for the game after training tomorrow.

Greg Halford and Joel Ward return from suspension for Portsmouth.

Luke Varney (knee) is struggling, but Ricardo Rocha (calf) should be back after missing the last two matches.
