A walk held every year to especially remember Father Mychal Judge, the FDNY chaplain who was killed at the towers on 9/11 and to remember all those heroes who died that day.

  • mcdgall - the song is "Kingdom Come" written and performed by Judy Collins.

  • mccormickd - I completely agree, let's remember all those who came to the site to help. I have good friends who lost their son who was an EMT on the day of the attack and he sort of falls between the cracks in the remembrances of the FDNY, NYPD and Port Authority. There were so many who sacrificed all on that day and the days and months after. God bless you and your family and may we always remember the sacrifice of your son, Ryan. And, yes, support the Zagroda bill.

  • Bless Father Judge and our wonderful FDNY! Love, Jeanne in Manhattan

  • Father Mychal we still remember you here in Belfast Nothern Ireland

    Rest in Peace

  • Let's not forget those who came to the rescue/recovery those days and are now sick, dying, or dead. My son, Ryan McCormick, died 2 years ago from cancer in his lungs from that time. Many sick can no longer support their families. Remember those who died that day but let's not stop there. There is a bill in Congress, Zagroda 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, that will provide relief. Call your Congressman to support it.

  • Wonderful capture of the Walk (I was there, too). Whose song is this, and who is singing? I've never heard this song; breaks my heart but it rings so true.
