Sparks - Mini-Skirted (from the soundtrack to Where The Boys Are '84)

One of the biggest movie flops from the '80s was the remake of the '60's classic; Where The Boys Are (cleverly titled Where The Boys Are '84).
A disaster very few have heard of, it's so bad it has only been released on VHS, and is virtually impossible to track down today.

That doesn't stop this little ditty from the soundtrack, performed by the spectacular Sparks, from being one of the greatest summer songs out there.
Have you ever heard such an ode to the wonders of the mini-skirt? I don't think so.

It so happens that I personaly possess an old vhs copy of this flick. Got it real cheap at a big clearance sale that some old video store had before they shut down. I recall that it also used to get shown quite a bit on cable and syndicated tv ( like HBO, Cinemax, The Movie Channel and even TBS and TNT ). I remember people watching and enjoying it, .. but only really because it had good looking people in it ( thats all it really had going for it ) .
