Hello Beth. Greetings from Egypt :)
I want to thank you so much for your easy lessons, they are wonderful!
I have a question about the slipknot, does it count as a stitch when you read a pattern? or do you start counting the stitches starting from the stitch after the slipknot?
Knit1For1Life 7 months ago
@Knit1For1Life when you make a slip knot it usually does not count as a stitch. However, the way I make mine, my slip knot is loose and I count it as a chain. I work into it as if it were a chin. If you tighten the knot then do not count it as a chain.

OK i have the slip knot but my yarn won't slide down the hook to make the stitch

@ManectricPup well, then it is not a slip knot.... Slip knots will slide...thus the name! Perhaps you are working too tightly. Try to keep everything loose.
