@K1ngd0mH34r7s this is the bridge that made engineers really become aware of the problem of natural frequence.. or is that another bridge?
-
I swear, that bridge was constructed from rubber!
-
OMFG IT MOVES?!!!?!? I knew it.
-
@K1ngd0mH34r7s it was aeroelastic flutter, actually. nothing to do with resonant frequencies. try again.
-
@ZAJIMAVITO I would... I would have preferred that the dog lived and the man died... Humans are cruel..
No 1 is stupid... what that man did was absolutely correct. he tried saving the dog.. but even if it bit him.. he should have just carried him somehow.. Dogs and other animals have life.. so they are equally treated important..
-
@pennyf9 i know really.
-
@pennyf9, Kidding. Did someone actually do that? You gotta be really stupid to risk your life like that for an animal...
-
someone went to the car to get the dog butthe dog bit the person, so he just left him behind...or so i heard.
they didn't make it on purpose. the stupid engineer did not consider the bridge's natural frequency to the air, so yeah... the engineer was an idiot.

I know bridges are capable of doing this, but I thinks it's amazing that the concrete and steel molecules can bend like that!
