was this intentional? not sure where the puck is, but it seems as though hossa was taking a slap at the puck and hit berard in the eye with the follow through. it's an honest question, not trying to cause argument

No sir, it was not. It's tough to tell with this video, but the puck is at Hossa's feet. He's simply following through with the shot and Berard happened to be there. Hossa was upset over the incident and visited Berard in the hospital the next day.
