  • Ever so slightly louder with a deep sporty tone to it. Couldn't hear it on the highway unless I downshift a couple gears and open the throttle up. Even then it was a mostly stock sound.

Gains were minimal if anything at all. I think the biggest restriction was the b-pipe resenator. I know it would be a bit louder if that was removed.

  • @pwrusr1 YOu mean removing the stock middle resonator?? yea it might sound louder.. how heavier is the AP2 muffler compared to the stock civic muffler? thx!

  • @leotmobile it's about the same weight, maybe a little heavier then stock.

  • I believe that is an AP1 muffler. AP2 mufflers have oval tips. Great vid!

  • @russelllaviolette:

It IS a AP2 muffler. The stock tail pipe had to be cut off (1:12) because the muffler sat too far over to the right (note the custom tailpipe that I used to center the tail pipe exit 1:26-1:35).

I could have used the stock AP2's muffler finisher (oval tip) but chose not to because it was a very tight fit between the tail pipe and the bumper.

  • idiot jajajj

  • How so? I drive close to if not more then 50 miles a day to and from work. I don't need the drone of a coffie can riced out muffler droning in my ears the whole way to and from work everyday.

Remember this is my daily driver not my weekend car ;)

BTW you have a nice weekend car from the looks of your vids.

  • Good find! Does it sounds slightly louder than the stock civic exhaust?? i would like to know that. I won't ask for gains cuz i know there's none but looks nice! i can't really tell the sound on the vid sorry

  • True they are heavy, but do you think the obx twin loop sound just like the s2k muffler?

  • sounds better, but s2k mufflers are heavy as crap haha

  • I have a s2k muffler too.. check out my profile.. doesn't hang up right though.. thinking about getting a obx evo style muffler soon.
