Scientists studying data from NASA's Galileo probe have discovered what appears to be a body of liquid water the volume of the North American Great Lakes locked inside the icy shell of Jupiter's moon Europa. This improves the odds that Europa is a habitat for extraterrestrial life.

I hope that I live long enough to see Europa explored. One of the great things about science is that it's always seeking facts. When the facts don't fit the theory, it's been a good day because we get a chance to learn more and we modify the theory. Science constantly modifies what it "believes" in order to fit the facts. Religion discounts facts in order to preserve what it believes.

why there's always comments against religion in science videos? it's like making comments against fast food in videos about fitness and stuff

It's ten of miles deep, I don't think a straight hole exists.

I'm sad right now, there isn't any amazing thought-shattering discoveries in my age. I'm afraid that there won't be any new awesome discoveries before I die, and I wasn't even there at the first man on the moon. I'm hoping we'll improve our technology and do something spectacular.

Instead of melting into the ice, might it be easier to spot a hole and jump in?
