Being that this is my neighborhood post office, I can say that this man is saying everything I've ever wanted to say to the awful people who work here.

when theyre dishing it out..they get what they deserve. a couple of months ago my mailman yelled and cursed at me because i asked him if he knew when the usps truck would be by to get my packages. i reported him and ever since then our mail has not been arriving (some bills, pay checks, etc). it doesnt do any good to report as i have learned. he better hope i dont run into him or hes going to get an earful.

I currently work for the P.O. though not in a job where I have to deal with the general public. You have to realize that postal workers are currently under a lot of stress due to downsizing of staff ( which means more work for the same pay), plus poor or even obnoxious management. Having said that, if an employee curses you out, is belligerent, rude, etc. simply because you ask them a question, you can report them by filing a complaint. No one, including employee as well as customer, should have

however, I did not curse them. they got mad because i was there to pick up a package that was shipped to me. the postage was clearly on the front of the package otherwise they wouldnt have left a card for me to come pick it up, when i got there they said I would have to pay the postage again because of the way the stamps were put on the package. WHAT!?!?! When I refused to pay the $10.00 the employee got mad and slammed down my package breaking my brand new IPOD!!! she got an earful @ then some.

MsAppassionata...i agree with you as Ive worked in retail in the return dept., customer service, etc. BUT you NEVER lose your temper or disrespect someone as soon as you stoop to their level..the whole situation rises to a higher level altogether.

Now on the other side of this coin...this is my P.O. the people that work here are mean, rude, belligerent and will curse you out just because you ask a question. There is NO REASON EVER for that kind of behavior. I have went off on these people too!
