Jesus preached love, not hate. Stop hating on people who don't share your views. That is evil, and so what if they hate you? Jesus said we will be hated of all men for his sake. Does that mean we should return in kind? No. Rom 12:17-18 "17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men." Mt. 5:44 "bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you..."

I really do feel betrayed from God.. I've stopped being a Christian a long time ago because I didn't see the point of praising something that did nothing for you.. I've self harmed & starved, yet God didn't do nothing. Went through depression and still going through it without anybody there to support me. My parents had the biggest fight I can even remember and yet, God was never there. But now I find myself on this video.. Asking for some prayers to be strong&that I will make it through this...

Do not lose heart/hope...the devil lies to us most ferociously cuz he wants to consume our souls and make us believe that God is the one at fault when really it was his own foolish pride that stripped him of his inheritance of freedom with his Father God.

I've been saved over twenty years and was mad at God that I still had so many questions. it's a matter of not being properly taught. I got tired of hearing God say, God loves me, I just didn't understand how or why and worse than that, how to 'love God'...the problem is, Christianity is about how much He loves us - the answer is in Jesus. It's there...

I know that. I try to do that at all times. :) For as Romans 6:1-6 says, we are made new and should live like Jesus. However, no one is perfect. We all sin (Romans 3:10&23). But the point is to confess your sins and repent and NOT continue in them. I'm going off on a tangent again. But I appreciate your trying to tell me to live by them. :) It is good that you can boldly and gently admonish. Keep doing it. God bless you. :)

Jamie it is very good you know a lot of scriptures. However, you can't just quote them. You have to live by them and through them no matter how challenging the task is.
