  • This guy is completely wrong! Your hands are supposed to be led by your hips causing an uncoiling effect from the ground up. If your hands are independent from your body then you are wasting your core muscles which have all the power. Cant believe this guy is actually teaching this method!

  • EVERY pro has self-destructive/defeating tendencies that result in them getting themselves out.it's why they fail 3 times out of 4.EVERY player must look in the mirror & admit when they get bad results, they did something wrong.the trick is to figure out what & change up.albert is no different.lotsa good smart pitchers own him.there's a reason he fails 7 times out of 10.the key:learn to re-evaluate & adjust pitch to pitch.even albert is not satisfied with where he is.why are you?

  • @mikryan123 throwing a punch:linear.hitting:a combo of linear at the start,+ rotational.think in terms actions that INCREASE batspeed, use 'em.actions that DECREASE batspeed lose 'em.straight arms, bad.arms in with an L,help you rotate at top speed.if albert changed up,his batspeed would increase,so he would get to more pitches on time, driving them instead of missing completely, fouloffs, popups.this is how ANY player improves.yes even albert AND ted williams-700K each.you K you did something wrong

  • albert is great!!BUT!!he's no different from anyone else.ALL can improve. when you defy the laws of logic & physics, you do NOT maximize your batspeed.do the experiment.once you do you will realize you can't defy it.throwing a punch is not swinging a bat. once your arms straighten, you are no longer accelerating.people who give a pass to great pros because they done thisnthat & think they can't possibly get any better: albert still fails 7 times out of 10.that's a lotta room to improve.

  • @kingcoach13 Yor arms should be in a power L position on contact then you extend through the ball and finish your rotation. Well, thats what albert pujols says anyway.

When you throw a power punch, do you throw just to the ppint of contact, or do you extend your arm through his face? YOU connect the dots!

  • @lvdjohnson stevie wonder

  • @XsvMike that's the problem:who you listen to.the main objective:LEARN TO THINK FOR YOURSELF.evaluate what someone says in relation to maximizing your batspeed. think in terms of what makes it faster.use it.what makes it slower, lose it.imitating a guy who is going good doesn't mean he can't be better. everyone MUST improve. when you fail to improve, you slide out of the league.always be re-evaluating & adjusting. adapt or die.be your own judge:but you MUST learn LOGIC & PHYSICS to be your best

  • @mikryan123 the instant you straighten your arms.. you bat ceases to accelerate.sit on a barstool with your hands in your lap.spin around.extend your arms.. YOU WILL SLOW DOWN!put your hands back on your belt buckle..YOU WILL SPEED UP!! connect the dots..

  • @JLIV461 well said! shows your acknowledgement of the laws of physics & how they govern batspeed.so many coaches start with their own subjective individual style, thinking the laws of logic & physics do not apply to hitting a baseball.BAD. this is why so many players get bad information.think in terms of batspeed,if an action INCREASES batspeed, use it. it is DECREASES batspeed, lose it. success is guaranteed.

  • @ganguscon wrong!use the strongest part of your body:your back leg/hip to start the engine.a closed stance will control how fast/far you will open up.land your front foot with a closed angle.to say you will open up too far means you don't know how to control your front foot.BAD.elbow up is a good STARTING place.rather than straightening the arm,let the lower body bring the elbow down/in.remember maximizing batspeed gets you to more pitches on time.that's where this style improves you most.
