An eclectic and talented group of people, this melding of minds and music have been working together in one form or another since 2003. The group relocated to Atlanta and took it's current form in early 2008 and have been taking the city by storm ever since. The Divide brings a collection of intricate harmonies rarely seen in this era of music and blends it with searing lyrics and unparalleled energy that combine to create a uniquely wonderful musical experience. With influences ranging from Donny Hathaway and Alicia Keys, to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, you can expect the unexpected. "We genuinely try not to limit ourselves when it comes to styles of music. None of our members are closed minded about the artists and genres they listen to, so we figure we shouldn't be closed minded about what we play." The band is a collection of individuals who are serious and passionate about music. All of the core group members come from extensive music backgrounds, a fact which is reflected in the quality of their sound. The dedication to presenting something dynamic and unique to their fans is tangible, especially when they perform. "With the current music climate being so formulaic and fabricated, we want to bring something refreshing to the industry and to the world. We want to not just entertain, but honestly move our listeners." The Divide, without a doubt, does just that.
