First discovered by Tom Kloster, Chak Chak Falls tumbles 100+ feet in a remote corner of the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness in the Mount Hood National Forest. The name "Chak Chak" is Chinook jargon for "bald eagle", after the bald eagle population which lives in this valley.

  • its off of eagle creek trail 501

  • How do you get here? It's not the "Eagle Creek to Wahtum Lake" trail is it? It must be something different. Isn't it a different trail. If it was the same trail I'm sure I would recognize this waterfall. Anyway, four stars (pretty cool)!
