"Hyperfast" Grindcore band EYE SEA came into being during 1994, albeit then titled DISILLUSION, an alliance of vocalist / guitarist Tolga and bass player Sven. Herb of MUTTI'S LEIDEN was enrolled on drums during 1995 but Sven then departed. Uwe of DEMENZ DURCH ALLTAG, another band that Tulg was active in, filled the vacancy. EYE SEA's first product was the 1996 'BeLIEve' demo, recorded in Poland and limited to just 100 copies. A second promotional set 'Off Lies: Monodology' preceded the 'Bloodgeon' album. Just prior to recording 'Bloodgeon' the band inducted lead vocalist Damir although this latest recruit would not feature on the recording. The album includes a cover version of the RIGHTEOUS PIGS track 'I Hope You Die In A Hotel Fire'.
