That "gray streak" at 1:50 is a shadow caused by the sunlight hitting the plume of smoke from the SRBs. The sunlight around the rest of the sky makes it look like the shadow is coming out of nowhere. Although, that "head lights" comment was funny.

I beleive here is another launch i live in orlando and my friends aunt works for NSA lives in titusville right near kennedy, but there will be a night launch in february @ 4 am or sumtn like that im pretty sure its Atlantis too, but there is always a risk of a delay.

we are goin down for the atlantis launch in may...planning to watch from near ron jons....were you happy with your location??? It's a once in a lifetime so we want to have been able to see ok..??

very happy...but i would recommend going onto the actual launch pad area if you can
