How well do the permission features work? I know that you can create users and groups, so can I, for instance, restrict access to a certain folder on the network drive and grant access to that folder for users that I specify?

Big fucking problem with the one I got. The Hard Drives won't connect, blue lights for the hard drives flash fast.

Thanks for the tutorial. My problem is how to set it up so i can transfer files from another city away from home. How do i set it up, so I can operate it on the internet. I want to set up the D-link as my FTP Setup[operating on Windows XP. What to transfer it another location in Windows Vista. Can you help me out. Would appreciate it.

Hi socrates008,
Go to 'Tools' after you login. Then look for DDNS. Enable it so that you are able to connect over the internet with a proper domain name. After that, configure your FTP and open FTP ports at your router (if you have one)
