To add to my previous comment don't ram it into sand dunes too fast it blows up the front air bags

I have converted my summit to air suspension because the camera that use got shook about but now it means i can adjust the ride height on the move and the car handles allot better the air springs are quite a good upgrade but you have to build the system from scratch and it takes several weeks and the wiring is a nightmare so only convert it if you defiantly want it

@Chrisabad1 they are 4x4 with front and rear dif lock that you can change by remote.

is your's a brushed or brushless motor??
because i was wondering if i should get one, i the brushed better than the brushless?

The standard Summit is brushed and 100% waterproof, not ballistic fast, but if 100% waterproof and max fun is more important than speed then you'd best buy the brushed, I've yet to see anyone make a brushless waterproof conversion of a Summit!

could you explain how yours still works???
did you modify it?
does the car have to be cleaned/serviced after driving in water etc..???

yes it survived all that and more, you should see the out takes, I had to go swim for it once because I threw it in upside down!
Traxxas just have to cover their arses when selling stuff, if they sold it as a submarine someone would buy one that leaked slightly and sue them cos it blew up!
