Why cats shouldn't be curious about plastic bags

I saw this video got featured on The Daily What. That's awesome ! But it also brings a lot of haters and misunderstanding. As for one: We were NOT "HOPING" he would fall of. It was just something that could have been expected. There are videos here of people scaring the shit out of cats on purpose. Go flame on them.

There was a plastic bag on the table.
Something that isn't there every day. So ofcourse a cat has to check it out...
My mother started filming with the thought of her cat falling of the table. But gosh, the cat got stuck. XD
I do actually feel kinda sorry for him. :( But it's funny to keep watching him running through the living room in 3 jumps! XD

@princessalis464: I don't think anyone's buying that it's your cat. And it's funny, so obviously you don't know a good joke when you see one. The cat isn't getting hurt in this video, and I'm sure that they removed the plastic bag later.

Right after the video my mother removed the bag. He got away with it with a scare, no serious injuries whatsoever ^^

Hey, I can totally understand that and I'm sorry to hear your cat turned so scared after. But you should understand that fortunately our cat just got away with it with a scare. Hardly an hour later he was sleeping peacefuly on the couch again. If this would've scarred the cat, I would have NEVER even uploaded it. :)

no joke, my roommates' cat did this last night, funniest thing ive ever seen and i haven't laughed so hard in a long time....he was still a little scared after but he's okay now

My cat loves plastic bags! Whenever we go shopping its like Christmas for her. And she purposely gets the handles around her head. She walks around as if it isn't even there! Lol

My cat did the same thing. It was intense. As soon as the head is through that handle hole, it's all over. My cat turned into Satan.
