Our Microtec Auto Open High Pressure Heat Press is an electro-magnetic operated automatic heat press. This Semi-Automatic press utilizes an electronic release mechanism with a gas shock assist to guarantee opening at the end of the print cycle. Hands free opening saves time and effort allowing the operator to apply more transfers in a shift with less effort than a traditional heat transfer press. Direct-To-Garment applications are also a large driving force in the success of the auto-open feature, allowing you the freedom of loading your printer while the last print is curing, eliminating any risk of scorching or compromising transfer quality due to overheating.
• Clamshell configuration - Space saving design.
• Digital LCD timer with magnetic auto open- Preset desired time and an audible alarm will sound and open automatically when time is complete; helps avoid over exposure.
• Digital LCD temperature control - Set the desired temperature and element will stop heating when preset temperature is reached.
• Full-range pressure-adjustment knob - Easy to access, top-mounted control. This allows the pressure to be adjusted according to the thickness of the material you're transferring to.
• Parallel arm handle with ergonomic foam-grip - Minimizes handle flex when opening and closing the machine, unlike some single-arm machines that tend to twist and torque. Comfortable for everyday-use and long production runs.
• Adjustable multi-spring balancer - Handle applies closing pressure through a spring and pressure-plate system, which allows pressure to be more evenly distributed across the entire platen when clamshell is closed.
• Teflon-coated element - Unlike other machines with bare-metal heating elements, the element on this machine is teflon coated. The surface is non-stick, preventing scorching of transfers, and does not require a separate silicone/teflon sheet.
• Upgraded lower platen - 1/2" thick aluminum board; built-in structural support to maintain flatness. Removable and reversible hi-temp silicone pad; unlike glued-down pads, if pad ever becomes damaged, simply flip over and use the other side. Elevated lower platen allows room for t-shirts to be easily placed into and removed from machine.
• Rigid steel frame - Machine is heavy-duty, commercial-grade, super stable and built to last.
