You need yourself a cameraman so you can blast down the lane way. I done it for my mates V8. Check out some of my clips.

@burgerman3 I do have a cameraman but he's very lazy and only comes out sometimes when enticed by food etc......as you can see from some of my other videos. Think I need to fire him really.;)

Hey how did u fit a V8 into your land rover defender? Ive got a 110 defender from 1990 and the engine is a bit knackered and looking for a new one. We were planning on trying to find a 200TDI from a discovery but im more into V8 ;)

@police512 I bought a 3.9 Range Rover Classic with a manual box, The Defender was a 200Tdi before. Had to cut the engine mounts off and move them back, then I used the Gearbox from the Range Rover but swapped on the rear end from the Defender box to give me the Defender gear linkage and shift mech. Also had to wire in the ECU fuel pump etc. An old Range Rover fuel pump will bolt into the Defender tank and you just have to extend the length of the pipe on the pump so it has enough reach.

@hammoj28 Lol this might sound stupid but whats the mpg like? Would u think its worth buying one and putting it in? Can i be cheeky and ask how much u payed for engine? I love the sound of your V8!

@police512 If your careful about it and on long runs you might be able to squeeze about 22mpg I think. Iv heard of 25mpg being claimed but not sure how true that is. I guess the better serviced it is the more economical its going to be, When you dont drive them so carefully they do guzzle fuel though.
I bought the whole Range Rover for about 600quid I think.
Haha, Yeah the sound is so worth it.:D
