Puppet Animation Experience Class student works

These are the puppet animations made by the students of a culture school called "Ikebukuro Community College" in Tokyo from October 2007 to March 2008. Students were divided into five groups and each group made one short movie. The instructors were Keita Funamoto and Hifumi Shibakura. They used armature kits called "ArmaBenders" made by Tetsu Kawamura and cernit as clay materials.

この作品は、西武百貨店池袋本店のカルチャースクール「池袋コミュニティ・カレッジ」の講座「パペット・アニメ体験教室」の受講生たちが２００７年１０月～２００８年３月­に制作した人形アニメーション作品です。５つのグループに分かれ、５作品を制作しました。講師は船本恵太と柴倉一二三が担当しました。アーマチュアは川村徹雄のSM-00­4Dを使用しました。粘土素材はサーニットを使用しました。

2008年6月より、音のメルヘン屋にて「船本恵太人形アニメーション教室・クレイアニメーション教室」を開講することになりました。「柴倉一二三球体関節人形教室」「柴­倉一二三サーニットドール教室」に続く、姉妹教室の誕生です。

人形アニメーション監督船本恵太が講師となり、人形アニメーション・クレイアニメーションを教えます。

1973年神宮前生まれ・千駄ヶ谷育ち。人形アニメ・クレイアニメ映像プロダクションメルヘン村主宰。西武百貨店池袋本店池袋コミュニティ・カレッジ「パペット・アニメ体­験教室」講師。NHK教育「天才てれびくんMAX」出演、テレビ戦士たちにクレイアニメを教える。フジテレビ「ジャンプ！○○中～密告中～」クレイアニメ制作。DVDシネ­マ「HANA 天使の人形」人形アニメパート制作。ＴＶチャンピオン「第１回クレイアニメ王選手権」出場。アヌシー国際アニメーション映画祭2005及びオタワ国際アニメーション映画祭­2006入選。

●新宿御苑のすぐそばにある音楽スタジオ「音のメルヘン屋」が教室場所となります。
●JR「千駄ヶ谷駅」より徒歩3分。

really really lovely, i loved how unique the story lines were. I'm at the London college of communication doing similar things, so its really nice to be researching for animations and did teamwork put to wonderful use like this.

I'd like to know what you thoughts of my animations (mainly Edward, play and metaphor 100 as you must have an enjoyment of the magic of animation).

Did any of the students come to London to study animation?

They created the films in about 62-80 hours (In six months).

They created the puppets, props, and the stories by themselves.

They assembled the armature kit(ArmaBenders) of Tetsu Kawamura.
