Short film of the Manchester City Centre Orange Order Parade, taken on Cross Street on Saturday the 18th of September 2010. You may be surprised to know that the Orange Order has been holding parades of witness in Manchester for over 200 years now. The 2010 parade was significantly larger than recent years, because Orange Lodges in Northern England are attracting more new members from English Protestant's who wish to protect and share their faith. In this clip, you will see three marching bands and Orange Lodges. Bands are - Heroes of the Somme Flute Band (Liverpool), Everton Road Protestant Boys Flute Band (Liverpool) and Patna Faith Defenders Flute Band (Ayrshire). Orange Lodges from Manchester, Preston, Burnley, Blackpool, Liverpool, Bootle, Leeds, Northallerton, Hebburn. Special thanks to everyone who travelled to support us and for the support from the good people of Manchester.
