No he did not..the producers had to hit em in his ear..No commnetator would play it out hat long..You can hear them tell then if you listen.. Now, normally I would agree with something pointing out Corey Maclin being a bad announcer, but in this case I have to defend him. Jerry Jarrett did not tell the announcers ahead of time about run ins or surprise wrestlers, so he did not know who it was ahead of time. Plus, they did not use monitors at ringside. So when Gordy hit the ring in street gear and his hair in a pony tail, it was likely that Maclin couldn't tell who he was until the trademark "war dance" or whatever you want to call it.
