if you have softmodded it you can change the color of the led.

@PomPaFriCK That should work, but mine flashes green and red when there isn't an AV cable plugged in.

The RROD in the orginal xbox blinks green and red, this is probs a led change

best thing about that damn thing now is that it's dirt cheap to buy another xbox...or could always risk trying to repair your old one by hand, then get a new one for cheap since it wouldn't be but so bad of a loss if doing it yourself turned out bad.
