Caroline Says II
My favorite song in my favorite game - Second Life. I wanted to let her walk away. Forced auydio swap. I let the machinima stay online, as it showcases early sl machinima, to me - anyway.

  • I mean... do you shake you're but when you hear this? hope not!

  • Of course i do know what the song is about. And of course i dont agree with violating a woman, or any beating in any sense. It is a song that I grew up with, it s part of my life. I wanted to let her walk away...

The location where i filmed in second life is my hiding place when i get sad.

  • hahah ummm Berlin was a concept album telling a story of about a woman and well the songs pretty much illustrate what went on.

it has nothing to do with gays or gayness, and "alaska" was a reference to caroline herself " all of her friends call her alaska, when she takes speed they laugh and ask her what is in your mind"

Lou Reeds only songs involving homosexuals were about drag queens ex. take a walk on the wild side, and most of the Sally can't dance album

  • Poignant song. The video definately does not match!

  • 'she' is also 'he'...

this album is about abuse of gay people - as well as women in bad relationships.

nobody should be subjected to violence (even in alaska) - that's what lou (and bowie) were talking about on this and later songs (including bowie's take on this 'don't hit her' on lodger, a few years' later.

  • GREAT SONG!! But wtf! what has this video got to do with it? do you even understand what the song's about?! common..

  • Nice Work. Just Perfect!!

  • There's a concert film coming out very soon of Lou Reed performing the entire "Berlin" album. That should be a stunner.

  • Y favoerite song, when I was 17.

Beautiful. It has stayed with me my whole life

I like how Diablo Cody, the Screen writer, used the Velvets song "I'm Sticking with You" in the movie Juno.

    REed is a poet, man.
