  • Yes, this is one of her best!!!

  • @cojoification Have you heard her performance from a 1981 Mothers Day Special on NBC? She sang the broadway song 'Mama A.Rainbow' to her own mother, Ruby in the audience. I believe that was her last television performance. I bought it on ebay about 5 years ago. It was expensive(45.00 bucks) and obviously bootleg.

  • @danielrdrown No. I haven't heard that one. I have bid a few times on an album from the UK from a TV special with Shirley Bassesy and Nigel Harrison - but have been outbid everytime it has come up. I have a few more "rarities" that I will post. Maybe you can post the audio of "Mama A Rainbow". I also remember her appearances on Dinah! and the Mike Douglas show, but haven't found copies of those anywhere.

  • Should have been a single release. Shows that the executives that make all the decisions don't always know what's best!!!

  • Love this song....wonder what shes like now?

  • damn.....this is good

  • Beautiful!

  • I do not remember this song but, Bobbie Gentry must know that she is a genious. Anyone who can write a song and sing song AND leave something behind must know that. I know that when you are doing it , it propbaly does'nt mean this at the time but it must be great to leave behind songs that people today still resect.

  • wow I remember this song !! I used to love this song as a child. The record was broken and I could not remember what the song was called. Thanks for posting

  • Thanks for posting this. I love her' Touch Em With Love' album. This really should have been a single release.
