  • @GunsNAeroStones Man, I like you!

  • @ShawnTebaldi Offenbach never wrote a dance , he wrote an opera that dealt with with the Greek gods . Outside classical circles the music is know for it's use DURING the Can-can . The music is actually taken out of The Infernal Galop from Act II, Scene 2 of Offenbach's opera .

  • @Darknessenceify Yes. Gaite Parisienne is a collection of Offenbach's works. Offenbach did not write a ballet called "Gaite Parisienne" but rather someone put it together. But Offenbach still wrote this Can-can called "Infernal Gallop". It's been interwoven all the way through GP and keeps on cropping up.

  • @ShawnTebaldi Which, for those of you who are reading this, and are interrested, is calle "Infernal Galop", and it is part of the "Orpheus in the Underworld" Operetta

  • @haibane13 Can-can is just a type of dance. Like a Waltz. Many people have written many different Waltz's. Offenbach wrote THIS Can-can

  • @Gecko7291971 I think that they don't feel any exhaustion by banging those cymbals cuz they are "high" because of this music :D They should look like they are on exctazy or somethin :D Remmeber, there aren't much pieces where you can bang those plates into each other :D

  • @DuhuKaralius I bet their arms would be tired after banging those cymbals that much

  • This shall be played at my funeral.
