University of the Philippines Concert Chorus' "Soon Ah Will Be Done" (arr. by W.L. Dawson, 1899-1990). Sang at the 45th "C.A. Seghizzi" International Choral Competition, Gorizia Italy. The UPCC won the Excellence Award in Choral Singing. July 6th 2006.

For your information they were not shouting, since their voices were modulated. It's a gospel, and it should not sound like a renaissance song.

One of the best version I've ever heard! Dynamics and phrasing are top notch. My only bit would be the diphthong in "going." I think it should be pronounced more like "go-in," and not "go-ing." It's only a shade distracting to my ear, but it's mere opinion. Bravo!

Pretty good job, the basses are a bit loud though, and I hafta say since i read it : this could be considered a spiritual but for the fact that spiritual's were sung by black slaves, and were not written down, and the man that composed this song was not a slave, though his ancestors may have been. just had to say ^_^
