@Vleesball most of the railroads built during the period of slavery in the US were built in the North by the Irish and Germans and in the West by the Chinese and the Irish. And in the South most of the railroads were built after slavery once again by the Irish.

The fact of the mater is that the black slaves were treated better than the Irish workers who were hired by the slave owners to do work too dangerous for the slaves. Slavery was good for a few planters in the south but it wasn't important to the economy as a whole. I'm just saying that whites don't owe blacks shit.
