The real problem is that there are NO POLICE in Brighton Beach, on the actual beach or boardwalk. After this shooting the police were on the beach for about two weeks, now you don't see any. The police have abandoned this neighborhood, and the community leaders, if can call them that because it's only business associations, do nothing but make nice with the cops thinking that will get them what they need. It doesn't BB only has filthy streets, and crime on the boardwalk because of their inaction

@Janetging2 actually it is a Russian neighborhood and Russians are not poor they dress high fashion like runway models..if u go to some of the nails salons on Brighton beach av it cost like 150$ just to get nail done..
