No one uses WEP anymore, its completely open. Always use WPA

Hi I have a Linksys WAP54G but I can't connect my iPhone 3G my lap top connect to it fine, but when I check the sitting in my iPhone it give me ip and subnet mask that's completely different than my pc ip so please help, keep in mind that I access my internet via usb modem
